FREE PRESENTATION AT THE ARIZONA HEART INSTITUTE

Disease Management through the Cardiac Conditioning Program

Exercise is one of the best things you can do to reduce your risk of heart disease. Proven studies show that people who exercise are healthier and have more energy. Walking, jogging, swimming, and bicycling are great exercises for burning calories, controlling weight, and improving the function of the heart and lungs. This regular physical activity may reduce the risk of heart attack by increasing heart and lung efficiency and extremity circulation, promoting weight control or reduction, controlling stress, and even controlling cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels in diabetics.

Join us for a FREE presentation on Disease Management through the Cardiac Conditioning Program, sponsored by Arizona Heart Institute (AHI) and Arizona Heart Hospital. This presentation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Translational Research Center on the second-floor in the ballroom, located at 1910 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, please note this building is in the same parking lot as Arizona Heart Hospital.

AHI Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager and exercise physiologist Kim Mostoller, M.S., will lead this lecture. Kim Mostoller has been the manager of the AHI Cardiac Rehabilitation program since 2004. She received her Master of Science from Arizona State University focusing on exercise and wellness. Mrs. Mostoller has provided patient care in all aspects of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and her specialty areas include exercise stress testing, risk factor analysis/reduction, and EKG monitoring and exercise prescription.

Besides diet and exercise, knowledge is one of the best ways to fight heart disease. If you would like to attend this free presentation, please call 1-800-345-4278 or register at www.azheart.com. Seating is limited, so register today!
