Life-Saving Procedures are Transforming Cardiovascular Care
PHOENIX, Arizona, January 9, 2009— In celebration of American Heart Month, Arizona Heart Institute (AHI) presents the 22nd Annual Public Forum showcasing a live-telecast of the latest surgical treatments for heart and blood vessel disease on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. During this event, Dr. Edward B. Diethrich, founder and Medical Director of Arizona Heart Institute and Arizona Heart Hospital, and colleagues will demonstrate several pioneering procedures, explain the new techniques and answer questions from the audience.
This important event gives the public an opportunity to view live procedures via High-Definition (HD) satellite from Arizona Heart Hospital. Attendees can also learn about their own health at the cardiovascular health fair held prior the live surgical cases. Blood pressure checks, body fat testing and educational information on many cardiovascular subjects ranging from aneurysms to women and heart disease will be offered. There will also be an “Ask a Nurse” and an “Ask a Pharmacist” table where attendees can ask questions about their cardiovascular health and medication.
The 22nd Annual Public Forum on Cardiovascular Disease will be held at the Phoenician Resort in the Grand Ballroom, 6000 E. Camelback Rd. The event is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open and the health fair will begin at 6:15 p.m. For 22 years, the public forum has been a success holding over 750 attendees. Be apart of this tradition!
