FREE PRESENTATION AT THE ARIZONA HEART INSTITUTE
Eating right does not have to be complicated. When money is tight and time is short it may seem difficult to maintain a healthy diet, but mealtime does not have to be costly when trying to eat right.
National Nutrition Month is an educational campaign created by the American Dietetic Association during the month of March. The campaign is designed to focus attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. To help you learn how to save money while maintaining a healthy diet, come to a FREE presentation, How to Avoid Putting on Recession Pounds, sponsored by Arizona Heart Institute and Arizona Heart Hospital.
This informational presentation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009, from noon to 1 p.m. at Arizona Heart Institute in the third-floor classroom, located at 2632 N. 20th St. in Phoenix.
Dr. John Sutherland, Medical Director of the External Counter Pulsation (ECP) Program, will lead this lecture. Dr. Sutherland joined the Arizona Heart Institute in 1998 after practicing cardiology for 20 years in Maine. Dr. Sutherland received his undergraduate degree from Harvard and received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and his cardiology fellowship at Miriam Hospital in Rhode Island. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
