An ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure. "The best way to fight heart disease is through prevention," says Dr. Edward B. Diethrich, medical director and founder of the Arizona Heart Institute "We know that the earlier heart disease is detected, the greater the chance that it can be slowed, stopped, or possibly reversed."

The Arizona Heart Institute recognizes that the best way to deal with heart disease is to keep it from developing in the first place. And if heart disease has already started developing, the next best thing is to detect it early, when it is most easily treated. Toward that end, we offer a series of programs aimed at reducing your risk of heart disease and catching it early when it has already begun. These services include:

Prevention Services:

Executive Physical
Lipid Clinic
Rehabilitation
Smoking Cessation Program
Stress Reduction and Support Services
Vitamins and Supplements

Early Detection Programs:

Cardiovascular Disease Screening
